SUSHANT KUMAR
Sushant Kumar is a graduate with Bachelor Degree in Visual Art from B.K. COLLEGE OF ART & CRAFT and postgraduate with a Master of Fine Arts from COLLEGE OF ART, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI working as a freelance Artist in Delhi and Odisha for many years. His art practice is not limited to a particular medium of operation but instead explores various mediums like drawing, painting, installation, sculpting, and new media.
Sushant has been best worded with awards and scholarships. He has Achieved Young Artist Scholarship from Ministry of Culture (Government of India) in 2018, MFA Scholarship from ILA Panda Center for Art,IPCA Bhubaneswar in 2017-2019, Research Grant GHARI Scholarship from Lalit Kala Akademi, (Government of India) in 2017-2018, Research Grant GHARI Scholarship from Lalit Kala Akademi, (Government of India) in 2022-2023, Youth Award for painting during All India Suvaniya Art Exhibition and Workshop in 2019, Prafulla Dhankar Art Foundation (Delhi State Award), Mumbai in 2017 and 1st award from All India Fine Art and Crafts Society, New Delhi in 2017.
The artist successfully participated in many important exhibitions over the last thirteen years, such as the 57th National Exhibition of Art organized by Lalit Kala Akademi at Lucknow in 2015, 91st & 87th Annual Art Exhibition of AIFACS at New Delhi in 2016 & 2019, National Level Art Exhibition ofOdisha LalitKala Akademi at NewDelhi in 2019, Eastern Zonal Art Exhibition ofCamel Art Foundation at Kolkata in 2012, Annual Art Exhibition of B.K. College of Art & Crafts at Bhubaneswar in 2011,2012, 2013, and 2014 respectively.
